Understanding Environmental Interfaces at the Molecular Scale to Design Sustainable Materials
We are currently recruiting one postdoctoral associate in the area of critical minerals recovery
The Pincus Lab at George Washington University specializes in green chemistry, environmental chemistry, and synchrotron spectroscopy.Â
Using synchrotron spectroscopy, we develop a predictive, molecular-scale understanding of reactions and interactions at the solid-water and solid-air interface. We then use this knowledge to design innovative and sustainable materials that solve complex environmental and societal problems such as plastic pollution, capturing critical minerals from waste streams, and sustainable and selective water treatment.
